Dentistry of Virginia Beach is a new office built from the ground up. The new building was constructed in place of the old medical practice that belonged to Dr. Pelaez’s father-in-law and welcomed the residents of Virginia Beach over 30 years.

“The day of demolition was an emotional day for all of us. My mother-in-law was the “do it all” person in the medical practice since it started in the late 1970’s.  She’s a nurse by training and learned the business side of running the practice which she did successfully herself for all those years.  They were both extremely supportive of my new building project, however, I know the day their building was removed in particular was difficult for them with countless memories from spending a large portion of their lives inside of it.”

“The waiting room for my practice is located exactly where the front desk area and main office were located in the prior medical space.  They both spent the majority of their time in that area managing the office and treating patients.  I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to build on the legacy of health improvement they left in the community.  I’m a believer that overall health starts with a healthy mouth and I’m looking forward to playing a positive role in the health of my patients in the same geographic location as they both did for so many years.”
